I was planning on sharing some of the solo-things that I've done prior to joining O!P, but I left my apartment without my external harddrive so I don't have any of my music here with me at the moment XD However, things like that will never stop me I'm studying like mad for my last exam at the moment, and what is studying without procrastinating, hm? So yeah. I wanted to sing something in English as I haven't sung anything in English in ages. Had a hard time finding a song, sort of picked one at random and just recorded myself singing along to the track. So. It's wobbly, I'm uncertain of the melody in places and the instrumental didn't turn out as good as it should have been XD Had fun, though. That's all that matters Anyway. Listen to my late night wobbly-ness of doom! XD I Know I Know I Know - originally by Tegan & Sara, here butchered by Twiss.

I watched the Morning Musume 6th Gen. training camp thing on YouTube a month ago or so and I still have "Akai Freesia" stuck in my head. What an earworm! D: So, I decided to record it to see if that could get it out my head. Also sort of fun to compare how I did compared to the 6th Gen. I'm not sure where to place myself, but hopefully I'm not completely butchering it like Sayumi did <,<;;; Akai Freesia - originally by Melon Kinenbi - Twissie (Hitori Moni) Volume levels may be a bit off. My voice too loud at times. I'm not sure recording it helped get it out of my head, though Damn. XDD

It suits your voice because it seems to be right within your vocal range. Well, I'd have picked you for 6th gen anyway! XD

XD You may well be right about that. I can't believe Sayu got in ; I wish the programme was subbed, and I also wonder what the rest of Morning Musume thought of her at first ;; I mean, she did improve a great deal after some practice with the voice coach person, but.. ;; ah well. Thank you!! It was a fun song to do. Had the house to myself so I didn't have to worry about being loud and waking anybody up XD;;

I just checked out your Akai Freesia-- good job! It was about 1000x better than Sayumi (I can't believe she got in, either haha). The only real criticism I have is that at some points you sound a little out of breath.
I love the song in general, it's a lot of fun ^^ and super-catchy!!

The only real criticism I have is that at some points you sound a little out of breath. Yes, I know. And I try to work with it, but there isn't much I can do. I had really bad asthma when I was younger, so my lungs aren't as strong as they should be. I would never be able to play instruments that require you to blow into them, so yesh. I know breathing and holding long notes and such is a bit of a problem for me. I practice, and I've gotten lots better, but it still shows in my singing that I'm often out of breath. It sucks :/ Anyway, thanks for listening ^_^V
